The journey was made with the beast in the mountains and another creature churning in the ocean. The small group made their way back through the valley and quietly traded a fresh vehicle for the one they had worn out. Gweenie watched it all with wide eyes. She was not sure of all the somberness. There were sometimes cries of angst. For many miles there were no leaves and the Phantom paced and roared.
Everyone was safe. Iggle Star watched over it all and sighed. Being a heavenly body had it's limitations. He cared so much, but could not leave his post in the sky.
Arrival at the castle was not joyful as Gweenie thought it would be. All the packages and bags were left by the front doors and everyone simply found a place to sleep. Sleep... it is the thing that blacks out most of the mind. In the dark corners thoughts may still churn, but they are held silent until later.
Tinker chirped as the morning sun began to warm the land. Maybe the smell of coffee would bring the castle back to life.
